Rock Rugby's Coaches
Matt Heasley and Clinton McConnell are both Slippery Rock Alumni and former Rock Rugby players who volunteer their time to support the club.
Matt, a Slippery Rock graduate of 1988, played many years of rugby on the west coast after his collegiate rugby career. Upon returning home to Pennsylvania, Matt sought out a career in education and has been an elementary school principal for over 20 years.
Clinton, a Slippery Rock graduate of 2008. Staying active in the rugby community by staying involved with fellow SLOBs. Clinton also pursued rugby after his collegiate career ended and even helped merge the team that is now known as the Pittsburgh Forge. Clinton has been nicknamed "Hightower" by the team!
